Application support
Prepare with confidence
Three simple steps to present your experience clearly and put your best foot forward.

Build a strong application
Your application is your first introduction. Make it easy for a hiring team to see why you are a great fit.
- Match your résumé to the posting’s key duties and qualifications
- Lead with student-centered results, not just responsibilities
- Proofread everything, then have someone else read it too

Research the district
Each North Country district has its own community, priorities, and character. A little research goes a long way.
- Read the district’s profile and visit its website
- Note enrollment, school buildings, and grade levels
- Look for programs or goals that match your strengths

Prepare for the interview
Interview panels want to hear how you support students, work with colleagues, and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Prepare two or three short stories with a clear result
- Be ready to talk about teamwork, communication, and flexibility
- Bring thoughtful questions about the role and the school
Before you apply
